I would like to draw your attention to EUSP and IMARES which represent the

state of the art of your field in Russia.



The European University at St. Petersburg is quite unique for the former

Soviet Union.  We are a western-style postgraduate college which is

internationally renowned for high quality research and teaching.  We are

the only University in Russia entering international ranking systems in

social sciences.  We also run the only in Russia fully-fledged Russian and

Eurasian studies programs which are taught in the medium of English. 

There is no Russian language prerequisite whatsoever, but we do provide

good quality Russian classes for those who want to master the language (4

levels starting from zero).



I hope that you know some young people who are interested in Russia and

Eurasia and who might consider joining the IMARES program, our summer

school or the BA study abroad module (RSSA).  I should be most grateful if

you could look at information attached and forward it to relevant people.
